| Configure DKIM Signing for Outbound Emails via Relays | Tue 19-May-26, 09:00 Until Tue 19-May-26, 11:00 |
2 hours At Risk |
| This change is being raised to address the DKIM failure problem identified on outbound mails with attachments. (P2603-007) The University's outgoing mails route from Sender -> Exchange Online -> Exchange Onprem -> Relays -> internet and currently, outbound messages originating from exchange are DKIM‑signed by Exchange Online Protection (EOP) earlier in the mail flow. However, the antivirus functionality on the relays may be unpacking and repacking the outgoing messages during scanning, which modifies the message content and results in DKIM signature validation failures before the email leaves our infrastructure. Recommendation from consultations with Microsoft and Phoenix was that emails should be DKIM signed at the last hop and so, to address this problem, we plan to apply DKIM signing at the final hop on the mail relays, immediately before messages are sent to the internet. This ensures that messages are signed after all inspection and modification has completed, restoring DKIM integrity and improving email authentication, deliverability, and compliance with modern (and tighter) mail security standards, that our outgoing mails now encounter. | Medium |

| Collaborate session and recording issues | Wed 06-May-26, 09:00 - Ongoing |
13 days, 18 hours, 51 minutes Degraded Service |
| Update: Collaborate have deployed a release on 14 May which appears to have resolved in-session issues with screen sharing and camera feeds - however, recordings continue to contain errors, with camera feeds freezing and a blank screen seen in some circumstances. We are investigating various issues with Collaborate. -During the session, camera feeds may randomly freeze. -During the session, a shared screen may show to other users as a black screen. -Collaborate recordings may not render/play back correctly. Users may find there is a black screen where there should be a camera feed displayed, or a camera feed may freeze randomly. Other users have reported that PowerPoint presentations are rendering as a white screen. We are working with the vendor to resolve these issues. | Medium |

| Power BI Capacity issues | Mon 01-Dec-25, 09:00 Until Wed 27-May-26, 17:00 |
177 days, 8 hours Degraded Service |
| The licence that grants us our Power BI service (Power BI Premium P1) is expiring, which is expected due to the purchase of the new Microsoft Fabric F64 capacity. However, the purchase of this new capacity is delayed. Due to our existing capacity entering expiry, it is being throttled and refreshes and jobs are taking longer to run than usual. If you have any refreshes that are slower, please wait for them to run. If they fail, the only solution for now is to re-try them later, however those refreshes will also be slower than normal. We will have the new Fabric Capacity purchased and available before our current capacity is paused on 31st January 2026. Until then, the service will be degraded and refreshes throttled. | Medium |
