Description
We are currently seeing problems in connecting to external websites from inside University of Edinburgh and to internal websites from outside of University of Edinburgh. This is due to a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack disrupting the Janet network on Monday 7 December.

Work summary
We are currently seeing problems in connecting to external websites from inside University of Edinburgh and to internal websites from outside of University of Edinburgh. This is due to a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack disrupting the Janet network on Monday 7 December and is a problem being experienced by several other institutions. The JANET network and computer security incident response teams (CSIRT) are currently working to resolve the problem.
