- Anything requiring power: Network and Phones
08:00 AM, 14-Jul-18 —
12:00 AM, 16-Jul-18
Over the weekend of 14th and 15th July Between 8am on the 14th July until 12am on the 16th July UoE Estates and Buildings will be completing a rolling power down of the James Clerk Maxwell (JCMB), Erskine Williamson (EWB) and Roger Land (RL) Buildings. Different areas of the building will be shutdown one at time and this will affect the network, phones and possibly doors.
There will be a rolling power off in JCMB, Erskine Williamson and Roger Land during the 14th and 15th of July. Not a full building shutdown in one go however this will impact the network, phones and doors as it happens throughout the building.
JCMB, Erskine Williamson and Roger Land Buildings rolling power down 14th and 15th July
This is expected to be a rolling power down over this weekend and not a full building shutdown. As it happens this will impact the network, phones and possibly doors throughout the locations within the building. Data centres and the CSR should be considered "at risk". Doors may actually be okay if batteries hold up during the outages depending on length of time so should be considered at risk. No information supplied with specifics but this will be happening during the 14th and 15th of July. It is understood that estates have been engaging with relevant people.
